This survey aim to investigate how people perceive statements that appear in the privacy/data use policies of websites commonly used (Facebook and Google). In particular, it aims to study if people consider that those statements indicate practices that have positive, negative or neutral impact on the interests of the user. Please complete it before 20/03/2015.

This research is part of the Meaningful Consent in the Digital Economy, an EPSRC-funded research project that is examining issues related to giving and obtaining user consent online.The survey only contains single-choice questions, and should not take more than 10 minutes. All the answers you give will be used for research purposes only. (University Ethics Committee approval ID number: 12219)
Note: You can only complete this survey ONCE and CANNOT complete any of the surveys entitled "Survey on Online Privacy - University of Southampton." If you do not comply with these restrictions your data will be eliminated and therefore you will not be eligible for the draw.
