Assessing the impact of the Shared Accommodation Rate

We are a team of researchers based at the University of Southampton exploring how single people (without resident children) have been affected by changes to housing benefit for the under 35s. We are looking for people to share their experiences of trying to access safe, secure and affordable housing in the private rental sector.

If you don't have time to complete this survey but are potentially interested in being interviewed about your experiences then please get in touch with us (you will be given £20 for your time if interviewed)

All responses will be kept strictly confidential, and all data will be held securely in compliance with the Data Protection Act. All data will be held securely and not shared outside the core research team and you will not be identified or identifiable in the publications or reports that result from the research. Your participation is voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time without consequence. In addition, should you not wish to answer a particular question then you are free to skip any part of the questionnaire.
