Pornography, Pleasure and Problems

Pornography, pleasure and problems

I am Eleanor Kilby and I am a 3rd year psychology student at the University of Southampton. I am requesting your participation in a study investigating the relationship between watching pornography and subsequent understanding of female pleasure, as well as other factors that may influence this relationship. To do this you will be answering a series of questions that will take you roughly 15 minutes; psychology students at Southampton will receive two participation credits.

You will need to indicate that you have understood this information before you can continue. You must also be aged over 18 to participate and be sexually active. By ticking the box at the bottom of this page and clicking ‘Continue’, you are consenting to participate in this survey and confirming you meet the required conditions.

This study is anonymous. Personal information will not be released to or viewed by anyone other than researchers involved in this project. Results of this study will not include your name or any other identifying characteristics.

Your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw by stopping the survey at any time; however, once you submit the survey you will not be able to withdraw since it is anonymous. For University of Southampton students, if you choose not to participate there will be no consequences to your grade or to your treatment as a student in the psychology department.

A summary of this research project can be supplied to you upon request by contacting me Eleanor Kilby at ek1e14@soton.ac.uk.
