Motorcyclist perceptions towards shared space

Dear motorcyclist,

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

The survey is part of my MSc dissertation project at the University of Southampton.

The aim of my research is to investigate the perceptions of motorcycle riders towards streets designed according to the novel concept of shared space. You have been asked to take part as someone who has direct relevant practical experience by being a regular or occasional motorcyclist.

The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete. It consists of a very short introduction, followed by 12 multiple-choice questions. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.

By participating to the survey, you are supporting my work with your valuable insights, and you are contributing to the better design of shared space streets in years to come.

Your cooperation is highly valued and greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions about the survey or the research in general, please feel free to contact me directly: pl1y17@soton.ac.uk
